Who said trail running should be slow? Unleash your inner animal and fly over the ground in the TRAILFLY SPEED: trail racing shoes for hard and rocky ground.

Built on a brand-new, anatomical shape, the TRAILFLY SPEED hugs the natural contours of your foot. The shoe fits snugly at the heel, giving you that locked-in feel, and then widens to allow your toes to splay. This gives a comfortable, secure and responsive feel as you race over technical trail.

Perfect for faster paced training, the TRAILFLY SPEED will help you nail those tempo, fartlek and speed workouts. Its lightweight design (just 270g on average across all sizes) means that you race in it too.

With a 4mm drop, the shoe strikes the perfect balance between natural feel and cushioning. POWERFLOW PRO foam provides just the right amount of bounce, working with a BOOMERANG FOOTBED to give you high levels of energy return.

The TRAILFLY SPEED has 4mm rubber studs that have been carefully positioned in multiple directions. These studs improve grip, shed debris quickly, boost propulsion when you toe off and help you brake at the heel. The graphene enhanced rubber gives you harder-wearing, firm grip and traction over hard, rocky ground. The formulation of this rubber has been improved on previous TRAILFLY models too, giving you better purchase when conditions are wet.

Product care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:

  1. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
  2. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
  3. Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).

Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

    4mm GRAPHENE-GRIP rubber studs are carefully positioned in multiple directions to improve grip, shed debris quickly, boost propulsion off your toes and help you brake at the heel. The graphene-enhanced rubber has also been improved to give extra grip in wet conditions, when compared to previous models.

  2. POWERFLOW PRO Midsole
    A bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness is provided by the new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole. This amazing underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground-feel you need when running over uneven, hazardous terrain.

  3. Air-Mesh Upper
    A single piece of air-mesh material, making the shoe highly breathable, comfortable. Over the top of the air-mesh, thick MET-CRADLE strips connect the midfoot to the heel, creating a locked-in, secure feel when you tighten your laces.

  4. BOOMERANG Footbed
    Preserve your energy on long runs with the BOOMERANG Footbed. The insoles feature hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride. Perfect for longer runs where maximising every bit of energy counts.

  5. Anatomical Fit
    The TRAILFLY SPEED hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking you in at the heel and then widening at the toes. This anatomical fit allows your feet to splay and feel the ground, while still giving you that secure feel that you need on technical trails.
