Fly over soft ground in the TRAILTALON SPEED, our first soft ground trail shoe designed for faster-paced training and racing.

Whether you're wanting to feel fast on your next trail fartlek or you're racing a half marathon, the TRAILTALON SPEED will help you pick up the pace over demanding terrain.

Featuring a unique outsole inspired by the hoof pattern of the mountain goat, the TRAILTALON SPEED gives unparelled grip and traction on soft surfaces such as soft grass and muddy trails. The multi-directional, 6mm cleats are designed to release the ground just as quickly, allowing you to maintain your momentum and power through to the finish. Not only that, the TRAILTALON SPEED is versatile too - the shoe's grip performs equally well running over slippery tree roots or rocky mountain trails.

At the same time the TRAILTALON SPEED benefits from superior cushioning and bounce, returning more energy so that you can run faster and further. POWERFLOW PRO midsole foam works in tandem with our BOOMERANG FOOTBED to provide the perfect balance of cushioning and responsiveness.

Product care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:

  1. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
  2. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
  3. Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).

Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
Warranty

We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our products. However, in the unlikely event of a fault of defect, all INOV8 products come with a 12-month warranty.

This warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Issues caused by not following the products care instructions

    Preserve your energy on long runs with the BOOMERANG Footbed. The insoles feature hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride. Perfect for longer runs where maximising every bit of energy counts.

  5. Anatomical Fit
    The TRAILTALON SPEED hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking you in at the heel and then widening at the toes. This anatomical fit allows your feet to splay and feel the ground, while still giving you that secure feel that you need when running fast.
